Coronation Street star Cait Fitton has spoken about the soap's cast and crew being a 'big family' as she shared an emotional update.

The actress, who plays Lauren Bolton in the ITV soap, was among the long-running show's stars who celebrated the programme's achievements this week at the 2025 Inside Soap Awards.

While the drama, heartbreak, and everything in between continues to unfold on the cobbles, some of the stars of the soap were out for a good time on Monday night (September 29) as Corrie scooped five awards.

Some of Weatherfield's finest joined those from Emmerdale , EastEnders and Hollyoaks at the awards bash, which took place at London's One Ninetyfour.
