PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Pawtucket man has been sentenced to over a decade in the ACI for child molestation, according to Tim Rondeau, Director of Communications for RI Attorney General Peter Neronha.

Edwin Martinez, 29, was sentenced Monday to 30 years with 11 to serve at the Adult Correctional Institutions.

Martinez will also face 30 years of probation and will be subject to community supervision upon release.

He was convicted on June 26 of three counts of first-degree child molestation and three counts of second-degree child molestation.

Martinez was proven to have sexually assaulted a female juvenile, who was known to him, multiple times between 2010 and 2012.

He also sexually assaulted a juvenile male victim who was also known to him.
