LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Arkansas Down Syndrome Association will raise awareness of the condition with its annual Buddy Walk this weekend.

The organization will host the walk at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock Saturday, Oct. 4.

Th event will allow members with Down syndrome a chance to socialize while also helping to fund other community events and programs.

Miss Arkansas Kennedy Holland will join the event to help pass out walk medals and awards. There will also be a live DJ, games and activities.

Registration for anyone with Down syndrome is free. Registration for those without the condition is $20 per person and $15 for ages 13 and under.
