LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Ahead of the 2025 Arkansas State Fair, officials announced a hiring event is planned for this weekend.

Those interested can apply in person from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the state fairgrounds’ Bud Light Pavilion.

Officials said that applicants must be 18 years of age or older and should bring their physical valid government phot ID and social security card.

The 2025 Arkansas State Fair runs from Oct. 10-19 with KARK4 and FOX 16 Ride Day happening on opening day from 11 a.m. until close.

This year’s event will feature a concert series on opening weekend starring Trey Songz on Friday, Lonestar on Saturday and .38 Special on Sunday.

There will also be over 50 food vendors with selections ranging from cheese curds and deep fried bacon wrapped chicken
