OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - An Omaha man who is accused of running a “dark web” chatroom and had child pornography found on his phone changed his plea Friday.

Trevonte Toussant , 23, entered a plea of “no contest” to the charge of visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct.

The charge of possession of child porn was dropped.

Omaha Police said they were investigating Toussaint in connection to crimes related to firearms when they came across child sexual abuse material on his mobile device.

According to court documents, Toussaint told officers he was the admin of a dark web chatroom where he would advertise child pornography and videos of people being killed.
