PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Starting Monday, an intersection in Peoria will be closed until Thanksgiving.
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, the intersection of South Greenlawn Avenue and West Latrobe Street will close to all traffic, said Peoria Public Works Department spokesman Nick McMillion.
This is work is part of the Combined Sewer Overflow Year 4 Control Project. Weather permitting, it is expected to last until Thanksgiving.
McMillion said drivers using West Latrobe Street should use West Starr Street, and South Greenlawn Avenue drivers should use South Blaine Street.
