A man was flown to a trauma center following an accident in Aston Township.

At 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aston police and EMS were dispatched to the 3100 block of Mount Road at Rockdale Industrial Park for an accident with injury.

A report indicated a 33-year-old suffered a head injury.

Aston Sgt. Michael Ruggeri said there was an indication the driver may have suffered a medical event prior to the crash, causing him to lose consciousness.

The driver was transported by medical helicopter to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for treatment.
