OMAHA, Neb. —

Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer and Mayor John Ewing Jr. met with reporters to update the internal affairs investigation into the recent traffic stop of boxing champ and Omaha native Terence 'Bud' Crawford.

It comes one day after Ewing held a news conference where he addressed issues the community has raised since the traffic stop that happened the night of Crawford's victory parade and celebration .

Crawford was stopped at 12th and Capitol for allegedly driving recklessly.

The Omaha Police Department said the officer noticed a gun by Crawford's feet, so the officer ordered everyone out of the vehicle at gunpoint.
