Legionnaires fall to RedHawks

The Sarnia Legionnaires will try for their first win Saturday when they visit the Caledonia Corvairs.

Carter Pranger and Wes Robertson scored their first junior B goals Thursday in a 6-3 loss to the Cambridge RedHawks before 780 at Pat Robertson Arena.

Sarnia Jaworski also scored and Andrew Gaulton made 38 saves for the Legionnaires (0-7-0-0), who have been outscored by a combined 50-6 this season in the Greater Ontario Hockey League.

They were tied 1-1 in the second period until the Eastern Conference-leading RedHawks (7-0-0-0) scored five in a row.

Parker Smith, Micah Della Croce, Luke Saramak, Alexander Forrest, Cameron Fries and Benjamin Masotti scored. Brandon Balcar made 15 saves.

The Legionnaires host the Komoka Kings Thursday at 7:10 p.m.
