ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - The South Carolina Attorney General announced that two men have been arrested for distributing child sex abuse material in Anderson County.
Deputies said they received reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that two men were distributing child sexual abuse material in Easley.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office said the reports were unrelated to each other.
Following an investigation, deputies arrested 32-year-old Walter Cody Wiles on September 30. Wiles was charged with five counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
On October 1, deputies arrested 23-year-old Grant Thomason Roper. Roper was charged with second degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
