ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. —
Two Upstate men have been arrested charged with child sexual abuse material offenses, according to South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson.
Wilson said, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office made the arrests in these unrelated cases.
Walter Cody Wiles, 32, of Starr, was arrested on Sept. 30. He is charged with five counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years in prison on each count.
Grant Thomason Roper, 23, of Easley, was arrested on Oct. 1. He is charged with one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Investigators state Wiles and Roper distributed files of child sexual abuse material.
These cases will be prosecut
