ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres have parted ways with their Director of Player Development, Adam Mair.
Mair was arraigned in court Thursday on felony charges for allegedly driving under the influence and crashing his car with children in the back seat.
The incident occurred in Pittsford, a Rochester suburb, on Sept. 4, authorities said.
Sheriff’s deputies in Monroe County reported that Mair's blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit at the time of the crash. The Sabres placed Mair on administrative leave, a team spokesperson told 2 On Your Side in an email last month.
