The Crown has closed its case at the Dylon Moreira murder and attempted murder trial in Kitchener.
The defence gets the chance to put witnesses on the stand beginning Monday.

Defence lawyer Steve Gehl said on Friday, after the Crown closed its case, he has not yet made that decision.
The trial, in front of Superior Court Justice Michael Gibson with no jury, began two weeks ago.
Moreira, 33, has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his girlfriend, Vanessa Legate, 41, and not guilty to attempting to murder his mother, Diana Moreira, 51, and a girl, 7.
He has also pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated assault.
