Respect, reason, strength and humbleness: The late Arnold Obey, no doubt, possessed them.

The late longtime NYC Marathoner, who starred in basketball at Wagner College, was always known for his kindness and support. Whether as a school principal, race volunteer or running companion, Obey was always there to help people of all ages and abilities in his low-key style which was always firm, yet respectful.

Finding others with Obey’s qualities can no doubt be a great challenge.

But not to Arnold’s wife Cheryl.
