NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Museum of Christian and Gospel Music opened its doors for the first time Friday.

The museum and the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame opened Friday morning at 402 Commerce Street in downtown Nashville.

The new attraction features interactive exhibits and a permanent hall of fame with more than 200 icons.

They also plan to host live performances there in the future.
