SMYRNA, Tenn. (WSMV) - Smyrna High School now has a hygiene vending machine.

A celebratory ribbon-cutting for its installation was held on Thursday and was hosted by Wellpoint Tennessee in partnership with SHS and Archie’s Promise.

The vending machine is filled with things like deodorant, toothpaste, floss, wet wipes, and both feminine and regular hygiene packs.

“Providing discreet access to these essential items helps eliminate the stigma that can come with seeking help,” said Claressa Ham, founder and executive director of Archie’s Promise. “It’s a simple yet powerful way to ensure students feel supported, valued, and equipped to succeed.”

Here are instructions on how to watch WSMV4 live on various platforms.
