Dani Dyer was told that ‘there’s a reason’ for her injury by the first person she phoned after pulling out of Strictly Come Dancing's 2025 series.

Paired with Nikita Kuzmin, 27, former Love Island winner Dani , 29, was seen during the programme’s pre-recorded launch show as one of the 15 contestants set to take part in the show.

Sadly, just days before the BBC One dance contest's first live show of the series took place, Dani confirmed her withdrawal from the series after fracturing her ankle.

Dani has since been replaced by fellow Love Island winner Amber Davies , 28, who scored 27 points with their Waltz to When We Were Young by Adele.
