BUREAU CO., Ill. (KWQC) - A motorcyclist died after leaving the roadway and losing control, deputies say.
A motorcyclist was driving west on Illinois Highway 6 when they left the roadway and lost control, causing them to be thrown from the motorcycle at 11:38 p.m. Thursday, according to the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office.
The motorcyclist was taken from the scene and pronounced dead at an area hospital, deputies said.
The name of the motorcyclist is being withheld while family is notified, deputies said.
