ATLANTA — Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will testify to a special Senate committee investigating her, the committee's chair announced Friday.

The special investigations committee is looking into allegations about Willis's use of public funds during her election interference case against President Donald Trump. It is also weighing questions about her past romantic relationship with former special prosecutor, Nathan Wade.

Willis has repeatedly refused to testify, arguing that the subpoenas were unlawful, but a Fulton County judge ruled that the committee does have the authority.

The special investigations committee is led by Republican Sen. Bill Cowsert and determined, along with Willis' legal team, that she will testify on Nov. 13.
