Average-Joe hockey players will get to skate with former NHL-ers during another CAN Pro-Am tournament in Surrey in mid-October.
Mark Recchi, Brad May, Mason Raymond, Meghan Agosta, Greg Adams and other former ex-pros are confirmed to play at North Surrey Sport and Ice Complex during the two-day charity tournament, Oct. 18-19.
By donation, hockey fans can watch the games during the 7th annual CAN Pro-Am event, which raises money for Canucks Autism Network (CAN) by pairing ex-pros with rec and corporate teams whose players pay (and/or raise enough money) for the on-ice experience.
