GREENSBORO, N.C. — We try to do our part when it comes to recycling, but many city/county machines can't take items we think should be recyclable, like shredded paper.

The small strips get caught up in most machines, but companies like PROSHRED can recycle the shredded paper because they make 2,000lb bales out of it. Why even shred things?
