TOWN OF PARIS, Wis. — A 65-year-old man sustained minor injuries after becoming stuck in a silo for approximately two hours in Kenosha County on Friday, law enforcement said.

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office, along with local emergency personnel, responded to a farm in the 3300 block of 169th Avenue in the Town of Paris for a man who was trapped while inspecting the auger inside the silo at around 7:45 a.m.

The man managed to get a signal and called a family member after attempting to make multiple calls for about 15 minutes. Sheriff's deputies and supervisors arrived at the scene within minutes of the 911 call and began using specialized recovery equipment.
