WASHINGTON -- Meet the D.C. Divas , the three-time National Champions and 2025 National Conference Champions breaking barriers in football. This season, they're channeling their inner Chad Powers, the titular character of Hulu's newest football series starring Glen Powell.

The show follows Powell as a former star quarterback trying to make a comeback as a walk-on. The themes of persistence and second chances hit close to home for the Divas, as they are women of all ages and careers, working hard to shine in a male-dominated sport.

Wide receiver Lois Cook, who is also Vice President of the Divas, has played for more than two decades and said effort matters more than raw talent.
