Kerry Washington was New York City #outside — with outfits to boot — to kick off Culture Con weekend. She was mad for plaid for the launch party of The Prophecy Season 2 at Harlem Parish, hosted by Audible, a Culture Con partner.

She then worked a silky necktie blouse for the Reasonable Doubt Panel + “Reasonably Iconic” celebration at Ace Hotel in Brooklyn. Guests had the opportunity to see themselves reflected in mirrors labeled “Rich Auntie,” “All That,” and “Second to None” while taking home goodies from three women-owned businesses: Moodeaux fragrances, Eternal Jewelry and SYI ACU Acupuncture. It was all to tap into main character energy, in tandem with the series’ lead character, the equally impressed-to-dress Jax Stewart.
