As Manchester began to come to terms with the horrific events of another dark day, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer visited the scene of the Crumpsall synagogue terror attack.

He shook the hands of emergency services personnel who responded to the incident within minutes as he surveyed the scene of the atrocity.
