A 19-year-old who admitted to killing his sister-in-law and two young nephews inside their Northfield home in 2022 was sentenced this afternoon to 54 years to life in prison. He is eligible for parole at age 70.

Eric Sweeney pleaded guilty to killing Kassandra Sweeney, 25, and her children, Benjamin, 4, and Mason, 1, in August. He was 16 at the time of the murders.
