The city and the union representing municipal enforcement officers have come to terms on a tentative deal. The announcement was made Friday afternoon.
The Public Service Alliance of Canada, which represents municipal enforcement officers through its Local 345, stated that it's a four-year deal that will include what it's calling several improvements including, among others items, a pay raise that exceeds inflation, a commitment to reclassification from the city, an increase in evening premiums and improved parental leave top-ups for all officers.
