NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A longtime leader in Newport News will be honored for his years of service to the community. City officials unveiled a new street sign in recognition of former mayor, Dr. McKinley Price.

The sign will stand at 29th Street and Orcutt Avenue, serving as a reminder of Dr. Price’s service, vision, and commitment to his hometown.

Price served as Newport News mayor from 2010 to 2022.
