All high streamflow advisories across the province have ended as of Friday morning, says the BC River Forecast Centre.
The advisory initially went into effect due to two strong storm events that landed on Vancouver Island and the South Coast over the weekend, with a third storm forecasted earlier this week.
Friday morning, Emergency Info BC provided the following update on behalf of the BC RFC: “The BC River Forecast Centre has ended all high streamflow advisories across B.C. including Vancouver Island, the South Coast, the Fraser Valley and Lillooet River.”
Three storms land on Vancouver Island
The advisories came in place following three storms that hit Vancouver Island and the South Coast, with the first two arriving last weekend.
