LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - In Lexington’s East End, the William Wells Brown Neighborhood Association hosted a free fall break cookout for the community Friday, bringing good vibes to an area recently impacted by shootings.

Robert and Vivian Hodge, who grew up in the neighborhood, organized the event at William Wells Brown Elementary to give back to children and provide them with needed positivity.
