The Spaghetti Bowl, actually the iconic space underneath the freeway, will be the spot for a new concert series starting Sunday, Oct. 5.

Kiki Cervantes, an El Paso business owner and festival organizer, said he wants to transform a cultural space like Lincoln Park, located at 4001 Durazno St., into a concert venue. And then do it again somewhere else in El Paso.

"I've been doing it for about 10 years. We've done a lot of parties and events Downtown and this is the first of its kind. We want to take iconic spaces and turn them into an immersive concert series," he said, standing underneath the overpass on Durazno Street, surrounded by muraled piers.

Cervantes is part of J&K Present, a live events company that also operates several bars, such as Later Later, Hush Hush, and Lost and Found.
