Mother in custody as NYPD probes possible missing boy in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE — POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the disappearance of an 11-year-old boy who has never attended public school, abc7ny reports. The child’s 50-year-old mother, now in custody, denied his existence , though ACS recovered his birth certificate. A K-9 cadaver dog reportedly alerted to traces of human blood on a refrigerator inside her Howard Avenue apartment. Neighbors say the boy, who has autism, had rarely been seen in recent years. The NYPD and ACS launched the probe after child abuse reports.
