NEW YORK — SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS, 55, was sentenced Friday to four years and two months in prison on charges of transportation to engage in prostitution in a case involving sex workers, violence and “freak-offs,” AP reported. The judge cited Comb’s history of abusing women and said he remained unconvinced that if Combs is released these crimes won’t happen again. Prosecutors had asked for 12 years.

Jurors had acquitted him of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges that could have carried a life sentence.
