NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is looking for a suspected perpetrator in connection with a shooting that occurred last month along Chef Menteur Highway.

Police said the shooting happened on Wednesday, Sept. 17 in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway around 11:15 a.m. Officers were called to the area and found a man with at least one gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital, and the alleged suspect was seen fleeing the scene in an unknown vehicle, a release said.

Through investigation, detectives determined the man pictured below was the suspect in the shooting. NOPD said the suspect reportedly frequents the area where the shooting occurred.
