NEW ORLEANS — After the news that their , the staff at Brennan's Restaurant decided to keep their booth at the National Fried Chicken Festival this weekend.

Meanwhile the suspect remains in the hospital with a serious gunshot wound to the head, but police still aren't releasing any details about the case.

Amidst the hustle and bustle to set up for the National Fried Chicken Festival along the New Orleans lakefront, someone is missing.

“He was very much a joyful man with kindness in his heart. He liked to teach people," said Haley Bittermann, Brennan’s Director of Operations and Corporate Executive Chef. "He was kind of bigger than life. He was a big, giant teddy bear.”
