HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person is dead and another person was injured after being involved in a crash on Friday afternoon near a middle school in Huntersville, according to Medic.

Medic said on Friday, Oct. 3, around 3 p.m., they responded to Beatties Ford Road near Francis Bradley Middle School for a crash.

When Medic arrived at the crash, they found one person who had serious injuries and another person who had died at the scene of the crash.

At the time of this writing, we do not know how the crash may have occurred.

Beatties Ford Road near Carrington Pointe Drive is closed in both directions.
