LA GRANGE, N.C. (WITN) - If you’re driving through La Grange, you might notice a bumpy ride on many roads, and for some, that’s even meant lost tires.
“I’ve had two or three messed up on the front end,” said La Grange business owner Tommy Edwards. “They hit holes and stuff and busted or picked up rocks and stuff like that and went flat.”
La Grange town officials say a water and sewage infrastructure project caused major disruptions to the roads. They were told NCDOT would help once the project finishes this June.
Since then, they said the start date for road resurfacing has been consistently postponed.
