A man was shot and killed outside a Little Ceasars on Friday afternoon in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood, police said.
The shooting was reported at approximately 3:18 p.m. at 2601 W. Cermak Rd. near South Rockwell Street. Police said a 29-year-old man was approached by an unknown vehicle. Someone then exited the vehicle, produced a gun and fired shots.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds to the body and face and was taken to an area hospital, where he died.
NBC Chicago's Sky 5 helicopter captured video of the scene, showing a vehicle and evidence markers inside an area surrounded by crime scene tape.
As of Friday afternoon, no one was in custody.
Detectives were investigating.
