WALKER, MI — A company that provides delivery services for Amazon has closed a plant in Walker, resulting in 75 job losses.
CNC Logistics, Inc. shuttered its plant at 3415 Northridge Dr. NW on Aug. 27, company President Timothy Thomas said in a state filing.
“The Company regrets that it was unable to provide the full 60 days’ advance notice ordinarily required,” Thomas wrote. “The closure/layoff is the direct result of unforeseeable business circumstances. Specifically, our principal customer suddenly and unexpectedly informed us on August 27, 2025, that it would be terminating its contract with CNC Logistics DGR8 effective August 27, 2025, resulting in a substantial and immediate loss of business.”
