ROCKFORD, Ill. (WREX) — Friday kicks off fall Art Scene in Rockford, a time for locals to check out the art and local businesses that bring it to life.
Happening each fall and spring, the event welcomes Rockford residents to learn more about local art and their artists and jump in and participate themselves.
Three Ravens Pottery has been a part of it for several years and said the event is geared towards artists and also people who are curious to try it out.
"For established artists to showcase their work. It's a great way to meet other people. It's also an entry ground for a lot of beginners just to kind of work over those fears and get confident about showing their work," Tom Harrison, the owner of Three Ravens Pottery said.
At the event, the business is allowing people to come in an
