LINCOLN CITY Ore. (KPTV) - A 32-year-old Lincoln City man was sentenced on Friday to more than 25 years in prison for abusing his wife over two years, and then trying to coerce her into dropping the charges, according to the Lincoln County District Attorney’s Office.

On Aug. 15, Marcus Penza was convicted by a Lincoln County jury of domestic assault and tampering with a witness.

The case began in November 2024, when his wife arrived at the Lincoln City Police Department with her four small children to report ongoing, escalating violence by her husband. She also told police that Penza had several guns and she was worried he would use them against herself or other community members.
