HOUSTON — When the Houston Texans take on the Ravens this Sunday, they won’t face the two-time NFL Most Valuable Player.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson, who suffered a hamstring injury in the Ravens’ loss to Kansas City last week, was ruled out, meaning Cooper Rush gets the start for Baltimore.

Rush went 4-4 in eight starts for Dallas last year with solid passing numbers by backup standards, but he obviously doesn't impact the game the way Jackson does.

With Jackson out, the Houston defense, which ranks fifth in the NFL, should be able to key on running back Derek Henry, who has made a career of torching the Texans

The Ravens defense, which has been among the worst in the league this year, is also dealing with a host of injuries. They’ve given up 133 points in four games.
