After a tree unexpectedly fell on an area under renovation at the Muriel Iverson Williams Waterfront Park, the City of Poulsbo is removing the other nearby London Plane variety of trees that are at risk of falling as well.

According to a statement from Poulsbo Parks and Recreation, the southernmost London Plane in the south end picnic area fell the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 30. No one was injured.
