INDIANAPOLIS — A recent Perry Township high school graduate is following his dreams of pursuing a career in law enforcement, thanks to some important mentors.
Twenty-one-year-old Brennan Langford is among the newest recruits at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, training to become an officer here in Indiana.
"It's been a little rough, but when you have your peers inside your academy and inside your room, you're building your foundation and that trust with your partner," Langford said.
It's a career he never planned on pursuing until middle school.
"So, I am the only officer in our family," Langford said. "My goal is to be the youngest chief in Indiana."
