One person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of 13th Avenue and Polk Street in Eugene on Oct. 3.
Traffic in the area is heavily congested and officials are warning drivers to expect delays.
According to the Eugene Springfield Fire Department, crews responded to the crash just after 2 p.m. One of the vehicles struck a light pole, impacting a traffic signal at the intersection. The driver of the vehicle required heavy extrication and was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
