ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Friday, Oct. 3, marks the third day of the government shutdown . The federal government entered a shutdown at midnight on Monday, Oct. 1. Lawmakers failed to reach an agreement on stopgap funding measures and negotiations regarding Health Care tax credits, resulting in government operations being impacted through payment delays to furloughs and workforce disruption.
