COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A jury has convicted three teens in the 2024 murder of 16-year-old Dennie Henderson.

Eighteen-year-old brothers Derron and Patrick Montgomery, along with 17-year-old Tyquavious Richmond, were found guilty on all charges Friday, including murder, in connection to Henderson’s death.

The shooting happened in March 2024 during a Sweet 16 birthday party at SpringHill Suites on Whittlesey Boulevard. It remains unclear when the trio will be sentenced.

Police responded to the hotel parking lot around 4 a.m. on March 24, 2024, after reports of gunfire. Officers discovered Henderson lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:34 a.m.
