MENASHA, Wis. (WBAY) - “Police Lights of Christmas” is back with their annual “Cop-etition”, where local authorities take themed pictures to raise money for the local community.
“Police Lights of Christmas” is working with 17 different police departments in the state to connect with the community through charity events like “Cops at Culver’s”, “Ride with the Lights”, and this “Cop-etition”.
This year’s theme is “Awkward Blue Family Photos”.
“Going on with an ’80s theme, funny hair, funny clothes kinda vibe,” says Jeffrey Pennings with the Menasha Police Department.
Winners get to take home a belt and bragging rights, but the ultimate goal is to raise money for 120 departments looking to make an impact.
