DE PERE, Wis. (WBAY) - De Pere’s Cornerstone Community Center unveiled its brand-new arena to the public on Friday.

The Donald and Patricia Schneider Family Arena spans 65,000 square feet, with 3,000 seats for spectators, marking the final phase of its “Grow the Stone” fundraising campaign.

The campaign is aimed at expanding the center to accommodate for the increase in demand for its programs since the end of the pandemic.

Organizers set the goal at $23 million, and with $20 million already in the bank, they’re now asking the community for help.

“The campaign kick-off had a lot of energy, a lot of community support, but we need to get just a little bit more to make it across the finish line,” says Paul Schneider, a representative for the family.
