PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Andrew Velcoff, a renowned lawyer in media law, spoke at Bradley University about the past, present and future of media.

"What I talked about was my journey through the world of entertainment and media over the course of my career. And in equal parts, what was happening around me in terms of the development of media and entertainment," said Velcoff, a lawyer for Barnes and Thornburg law firm.

Students gathered in Bradley Hall to hear him speak, many of whom received extra credit for their classes for attending. He wanted to make sure he shared that anyone going into his industry will have a different experience.
